Service Update

At Starship, we’re always looking for ways to improve our deliveries to provide the most efficient and sustainable service.

We’re proud that the average Starship delivery uses the same amount of energy as boiling a kettle for a single cup of tea. But when customers order from a Tesco or Co-op which isn’t their nearest option, delivery distances become less efficient, with longer delivery times for everyone. We want to encourage customers to choose the nearest option available to them, so we’re making a small update to our delivery fees.

For most customers, nothing will change if you continue to order from your nearest Co-op or Tesco: the delivery fee is still only 99p!

However, for orders from a Tesco or Co-op that isn’t your nearest branch, the delivery fee will increase to £1.99.

In making these positive changes we can continue to provide you with an affordable, reliable and sustainable food delivery service. It will improve delivery times and allow us to further our mission to offer the most energy-efficient service on the planet.

We’ve loved seeing the warm welcome our robots receive every day, and we thank you for your continued support.
